For the company Pearl Technology, we further developed a strap buckle which meets the specific requirements for fixing a patient in CT (computed tomography).
The focus was on ease of use, speed, materiality, and design. In addition to reducing pressure marks and ease of handling, the chosen design and manufacturing method help to minimize disturbances in image generation.

The adapted geometry, which causes the new buckle to lift slightly on one side under tension, reduces the pressure on the contact surface, which is distributed over a wide strip. This results in fewer pressure points and easier handling.
